



Cliffside Inscription of “Eight Scenic Spots of Diaoyushan Hill”
Carved in 1716 during the Qing Dynasty, the inscription is 0.8 meters high and 2.9 meters wide, with an area of about 2.3 square meters. The characters are in cursive handwriting, each 0.12 meters across. The eight scenic spots named on the inscription are:
White Clouds over the Hill, Silky Belt of the Jialing River, Moon of the Heavenly Pond at Night, Spring from the Ancient Cave, Splatter of Rain on the Sandy Beach, Light on the Red Cliff, Rosy Clouds over the East Valley, and the Evening Cooking Smoke over the Western Marketplace.
