Wenfeng Ancient Street

Wenfeng Ancient Street is located at the confluence of the right bank of the Fujiang River and the Jialing River in Hechuan. It got its name from the ancient relic "Wenfeng Pagoda". With the goal of building the first street featuring Bayu culture in Chongqing, it was constructed in accordance with the techniques of Chinese classical gardening. According to local literature records, it has reproduced the historical charm of ancient Hezhou and the prosperous scene of the century-old old street.
It was rated as "the Most Beautiful Building in Hechuan District" in 2011, and was named "the Best Tourism Real Estate Project in Chongqing" and "One of the Ten Most Beautiful Ancient Towns in Chongqing" in 2012. In 2014, it was approved by the National Tourism Administration as a national AAA-level scenic area.
