Wenchang Palace

Wenchang Palace was built in the third year of Xianfeng in the Qing Dynasty. It is composed of the Dacheng Hall, the ancient stage, and the east and west corridors, covering an area of about six acres. It faces south and is built in a courtyard-style, through-beam, civil-wooden structure with upturned eaves and corners. The outer eaves of the ancient stage are carved with stories from the Three Kingdoms period, showcasing exquisite carving techniques and profound layers, making it a rare treasure of woodcarving.
