Longduo Mountain

Longduo Mountain is located at the border between Longfeng Town in Hechuan District and Longxing Town in Tongnan District. It got its name because its peaks and ridges rise and fall, just like a coiling dragon. It was once a contested and demarcated area between the ancient Ba State and Shu State, and it is also a famous religious mountain where Buddhism and Taoism coexist. It is hailed as "The Boundary of Ba and Shu, a Famous Mountain of Buddhism and Taoism".
    Longduo Mountain is characterized by its miraculous springs, strange rocks and stone carvings. Since ancient times, it has been known as "Mount Emei is renowned for its beauty across the land, Mount Qingcheng is famous for its tranquility, and Longduo Mountain is celebrated for its spirituality". There are currently 76 niches of cliff carvings and 1,742 statues, which are a cultural relics protection unit at the municipal level in Chongqing.
